The Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia (IVI) participated in the 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements in Belgrade.

As part of the IVI exhibition stand, the ARTIFACT project was featured on Thursday, 21 May, within the activities of the Green AI group, alongside its broader research initiatives.

The event provided an opportunity to highlight ongoing work on AI-driven flood modelling and forecasting, with a particular focus on how AI can support and complement nature-based solutions in urban planning and climate adaptation strategies.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of connecting advanced AI research with real-world climate adaptation challenges, especially in the context of increasing urban flood risks.

The fair also served as a platform for dialogue with stakeholders from academia, industry, and the public sector on how data-driven and interdisciplinary approaches can support more resilient infrastructure systems.
